Inspect the transmission
The 2.3L uses the 10R60 family; the 3.0L uses the 10R80. Check cold and warm shifts and reverse engagement. A service bulletin is not proof that a particular car has a defect.
Title and recalls
Clean title is a seller claim, not an independent title report. Unknown means the listing did not establish title status. Two rebuilt-title vehicles are excluded by default. Every car needs a current VIN recall check and completion records; newer years are not automatically clear.
